with you why becoming a member of the Swanton Chamber of Commerce
can help you with your business.
The Swanton Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer non-profit
organization comprised of private individuals and businesses
with a focus on community development, building relationships
and supporting with area businesses and the preservation of
the Vermont quality of life.
So,
what exactly do we do?
- Maintain
the Chamber of Commerce office and Tourist Information Center.
- Maintain
our website, www.swantonchamber.com,
promoting Swanton and Vermont.

Provide a home and care for Swanton’s Royal Swans
for over forty years.

Provide informational local business seminars
- Helped
in the re-installation of our historic 1909 fountain replica.
- Sponsor
Merchant Promotions, including an Easter Egg Hunt.
- Donate
to support local high school Substance Free Party
- Donate
to support the local Boys and Girls State

Support local area Cub Scouts

Sponsor the “Citizen’s Band” concert and
“Concert-in-the-Park” Events

Sponsor the promotion of our Annual Citizen or Business
of the Year Recognition
- Work
closely with the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge
- Encourage
trade and manufacturing in Swanton and surrounding communities
- Contribute
to downtown park beautification
