Announcement who won the Swan Dive
Congratulations go to 9 year old Cody Bombardier with the winning ticket time of 12:00AM. Please note, some entries were submitted without all of the required information and did not specify AM or PM, those entries could not be considered. The "Swan Dive" actual time was 3:00AM, March 13th. Cody was the lucky recipient and gleefully accepted a check for $300! Not bad for our first ever Swan Dive!

January Newsletter- A note from President
Dear Chamber Members,
Can you believe another year has come and gone already? Time really does accelerate as you get older. Well, barring any last minute floor fight during the elections, Dave Hamlen will be occupying this seat at the end of this month. Dave is one of the most capable guys I have ever met and I’m sure he will take this organization to a new level. As always, it’s important that he has help. If you are one of the people that reads this newsletter every month and then puts it in the round file, then you are the people I am talking to. Get involved, get on a committee, offer to help with some small task. You will get back more than what you put in.
Although we have put a lot of our focus on fund raising lately, it’s important to realize and remember all the good our organization does for the community. Our annual Christmas in the park and Easter Egg Hunt are two of the most popular events in town. The support we have given to numerous organizations has helped to keep them afloat. Our beautiful park, looks the way it does partly because of our efforts. The youth of our community reap the benefits from our support of boys and girls State. The list could go on and on. We are an important asset to our community and keeping the chamber active and viable is the responsibility of all of us.
I have enjoyed serving as your president and look forward to assisting the new president (and his transition team) with any and everything that need to be done. Enjoy the new year.
Dave Chevalier
